Nach Olden's Untersuchungen[2](javascript:footNote('G202010/note002.html')) war Mac Cosse im letzten Drittel des 10. Jahrhunderts an der Klosterschule von Ross Ailithir, jetzt Ross Carbery im Südwesten der Grafschaft Cork, als **fer légind** thätig.
